The Panorama of Calpe is difficult to confuse with another city due to single gigantic Peñon de Ifach, towering over the sea in the Bay of Calpe at a height of 332 meters. Since 1987, the Ifach has been declared a natural reserve and preserves the habitat for a variety of migratory birds, including flamingos and herons.

Very near the Peñon there is the fishing port where the fish market of Calpe with its fish auction, that is operating throughout the year, takes place every day at five in the afternoon. Near the port are the famous seafood restaurants, which attract lovers of Mediterranean cuisine and especially fresh seafood from the coast.


The Calpe beaches length is about 13 kilometers, but the two most famous and comfortable beaches that have the Blue Flag are the Arenal-Bol and Levante Beach -Fossa. The beaches are sandy and promenades offer all kinds of services: restaurants, bars, areas for children, water sports. In addition, in Calpe there are several small coves, some of which are so isolated that can only be accessible by sea, it is an excellent option for diving, away from the noisy multicultural crowd.
